So do we. An evening to get out of the house, meet good people and hear music that makes you want to move.
DJ sets, live vocals, percussion, guided somatic movement and a hypnotic sound bath. We begin in stillness, find the first ember through breath, build the heat through dance, and finish glowing together.
Sober, sober-curious or just on a booze snooze? You don’t need to label yourself. This is an alcohol-free evening, with no judgement about what you choose the rest of the time.
Come with a friend or turn up on your own. No experience needed. No choreography to remember. Dance, sit, watch, join in or simply enjoy being inside the Palm House. You don’t have to take part in everything.

ORANGA
Oranga uses his homemade synthesisers to turn the plants’ natural electrical signals into sound. The Palm House plants become part of the music.

Genie guides a hypnotic sound bath experience, inviting you to settle into stillness after the movement and music.

Geniene Azalea and Jake Jervo funded the first Movers n Soul Shakers themselves at 24 Kitchen Street in 2024. They wanted to bring the energy of Liverpool’s club culture into a space for music, movement and connection.
Tickets then cost £30. Support from The National Lottery Community Fund now helps open the doors more widely, with free community places and flexible ticket options, while paying more of the artists and practitioners who make the evening happen.
